416 Taylor on a Mauser in the English Tradition by Lon Paul

A much anticipated rifle being built on an FN Mauser action. Blackburn drop belly and Joe Smithson rings and bases are being used. A special ghost ring is being built by Joe as this will be the primary site system for this rifle with the detachable scope acting as a back up. As such the dimensions of the stock will favor the open sites. It will be chambered in the short powerful 416 Taylor, and a Pac-Nor barrel should direct it nicely. The barrel contour is rather light weight as will be the finished weight of the gun. Trim and fast with a big punch thanks to Lon Paul.
